Training Programs - Threat and Vulnerability Assessments

Corporations, public facilities, schools, private residences and government structures are considered to be highly susceptible to various forms of risk including: criminal activity, escalating workplace violence, natural events and terrorism.  Facility owners have a legal responsibility to limit these risks. One of the primary steps in protecting these entities is the establishment of a program utilizing threat and vulnerability assessments.
The threat assessment is a comprehensive and methodical evaluation tool that can be used to identify problems such as: trespassing, theft, workplace violence, arson, extortion, bomb threats and bombings, terrorism, industrial espionage and fraud.  Once areas are identified and analyzed, the assessment can assist professionals in making recommendations to correct and prevent those events from happening.
Vulnerability Assessments are an advanced evaluation tool that identifies the specific risks and credible threats targeting the organization and considers the potential impact of loss from an incident or catastrophic event.  Loss is the extent that the facility is impaired or forced to close due to a successful incident from the threat. Assessments may include a study of local and international demographics, documented threats and violence, company policies, experienced losses, and personnel management.
Threat and Vulnerability Assessments is our 5-day Management-Level educational program. It provides a variety of practical exercises (both analytical and hands-on) that are conducted in the classroom and on location with selected facilities and the cooperation of law enforcement. A MUST-ATTEND program for executive management, human resources, corporate security, law enforcement, school administrators, military personnel, and private security consultants who require the concise tools and information necessary to conduct specialized security and risk-related assessments for protecting both people and property.
