Joseph “J.T.” Fratangelo is an Adjunct Instructor and Senior Faculty Member of Enterprising Securities based in San Antonio , TX . Mr. Fratangelo's responsibilities include educational programs involving corporate investigations and security, protective services, licensing, support and logistics.

With over 25 years of professional experience with positions as a chief of police, detective, law enforcement officer, correctional special response team member, security consultant, corporate investigator, instructor and executive protection specialist, Mr. Fratangelo brings an abundance of realistic and in-depth expertise to the clients of Enterprising Securities.

A retired detective from Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Mr. Fratangelo is California P.O.S.T. (Advanced Peace Officer Level) certified and a Court Certified Gang Expert with Los Angeles County Superior Court. He is certified by the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards & Education (TCLEOSE) as a Master Peace Officer, Police Instructor and Firearms Instructor. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and during his tenure he has received numerous awards and commendations.

Mr. Fratangelo is a Graduate of the Houston Police Department SWAT Program and the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT), Executive Development School . Licensed by the Texas Department of Public Safety Private Security Board (PSB), he is certified as a Private Investigator, Classroom and Firearms Instructor, and Level 4 Personal Protection Officer.

Mr. Fratangelo is a nationally recognized consultant, speaker and educator. He is an Alumni of Sigma Phi Epsilon and maintains active memberships in the American Society for Industrial Security International (ASIS) and the Texas Association of Licensed Investigators (TALI). Mr. Fratangelo is a supporter of local and national organizations is passionate about sharing his experience with fellow security and law enforcement professionals.
