Mahmut "Oz" Ozturkmen is an Adjunct Instructor and Senior Faculty Member for Enterprising Securities, based in San Antonio , TX . Since 1997 , Mr. Ozturkmen's responsibilities have included: business development, implementation, protocol and management of advanced level educational programs, logistics administration, and security consultation.

With over 16 years of diverse progressive experience as a law enforcement officer, security consultant, corporate investigator, instructor and executive protection specialist, Mr. Ozturkmen brings a wealth of practical and in-depth real world expertise to the clients of Enterprising Securities.

P.O.S.T. (Advanced Level) Law Enforcement Certified in the States of Georgia and Nevada , Mr. Ozturkmen has been an active member of the College Park , Savannah-Chatham County , GA Police Departments, and the Las Vegas , NV Police Department. He has held assignments with the Crowd Control Team for the 2004 G-8 Summit and several high level security operations. A senior corporate investigator for a world-renowned healthcare center and various hospitality organizations, Mr. Ozturkmen has conducted investigations including: substance abuse, workplace violence, employee fraud, loss prevention, violation of company policies and surveillance. During his tenure he received numerous awards and commendations.

As an expert in protective service disciplines, he has conducted many guard force management and executive protection agent evaluations and has performed risk assessment exercises against the physical security operations of highly guarded and secure facilities for corporations and organizations.

A Graduate of numerous Enterprising Securities programs, Mr. Ozturkmen has extensive training in a wide variety of law enforcement, executive protection, security and investigations programs from government and private sources. Additionally, he holds certifications as Certified Crisis Intervention Officer (CIT), a Certified Healthcare Security Officer and Certified Protection Officer (CPO).

Mr. Ozturkmen works closely with federal, state, local law enforcement agencies and community organizations. He maintains active memberships and continuing education with a number of security and investigative associations.
